OUR MISSION
1.The purpose of the department is to raise leading individuals who will be able to use information technologies effectively in every environment, can act as educational technologist, information technology specialist, educational technology consultant, and who can realize the effective integration of these technologies into education in order to form an information society. Thus, it is aimed for students to contribute to the development and progress of the society in which they are located.
2.The second purpose of the department is to provide the necessary courses and activities for students to develop and realize themselves in technical, social, cultural, political and intellectual aspects. In this way, it is aimed to ensure that students contribute to the Turkish society they live in and the formation of a more human lifestyle.
3.The third purpose of the department is to provide up-to-date information and professional skills to prospective teachers who will guide their own students as they enter the information age.
4.The fourth purpose of the department is to educate qualified graduates who can exhibit their teaching profession properly both orally and in writing, have a foreign language, general culture and historical knowledge and respect social and universal values, and also who follow closely all the innovations in the field; following domestic and international publications; benefit from the latest technology; educate and develop educational sciences with other disciplines, inquisitive, researcher and have strong communication skills, design learning environments, use scientific research processes, are well-educated in the field, know the ways to access information, grasp the educational methods required by the era, open-minded, free-thinking, creative, has human and cultural values.
5.The fifth purpose of the department is to be in constant communication and cooperation with international organizations, domestic and international universities, private sector, non-governmental organizations, other departments of the university and graduates in order to contribute to the professional development of students and academicians and carry out joint projects.
